Dr. Travis Bauer grew up just outside of Austin, where small-town values, friendly neighbors, and strong community support shaped who he is today. After graduating as Valedictorian of Lake Travis High School, he went on to study Neuroscience at Rice University and later earned his DDS from The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. He then completed a surgery internship at UT Medical Branch.
But no matter where life and education took him, home was always calling.
Now, Dr. Bauer is proud to bring his passion for dentistry back to Central Texas. At Hometown Dental, he blends high-quality care with genuine hospitality—offering a modern dental experience rooted in familiar values. Whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong resident, you’ll feel right at home.
